The
Manchester Early Learning Center is a non-profit childcare
facility. The Center provides childcare for children ages
3 through 12 from lower income families. All families enrolled
in the program live in the Manchester area.
MELC
believes that children benefit from the company of others.
They provide opportunities for small and large group activities
allowing children to socialize with other children and adults.
These interactions help children build self help and problem solving
skills. The children's natural creativity is supported by
providing activities in art, music, dance, and dramatic play.
The environment is individualized to meet the needs of each child.
MELC also works closely with
parents to provide the very best care for their children and parental
involvement is encouraged in all aspects of the program.
Exciting

Development Block Grant, the Hartford Foundation, the Melville Trust,
ECHN, and Center Congregational Church. |
