Community Renewal Team, Inc.
is the state's largest
community action agency, providing a comprehensive range of human
services to individuals and families residing in Manchester and
other communities. In addition to providing outreach, social
services, child development and self help programs, CRT also offers
comprehensive case management services to welfare clients. CRT
will continue to address the needs for energy assistance, elderly
nutrition, housing assistance, and child care and will provide
services to Manchester town residents through the Alternate
Incarceration Centers based in other communities.
The Employment and Training Program will continue to
work with individuals receiving state assistance through Temporary
Assistance for Families. All of CRT's services and programs
provide valuable support and resources to Manchester's low income
community.
